(Shathi) Companion by Tagore translated by ranu
(Shathi) Companion by Rabindranath Tagore
Fellow pedestrian,I salute you__
accept obeisance from the travellers.
Farewell dear, dear loss, dear lord of the end of day,
accept a bow from the damaged house.
O new morning daylight, O forever in motion,
I salute you for new hope.
O coachman of life’s chariot, I am constantly preparing the way,
I bow to you for enabling me to move on.
Dear Ranu,
Thank you for this. What does this poem bring to your mind/heart?
All good wishes,
robert
Thank you very much for your comment. I always appreciate your sincerity,I hope you’ll
always be good to everyone. You have a quality that few possess,a good heart.I am happy to know you.
Suddenly I don’t feel so good mentally.I am not sure my decision to stay in this course is a wise one.
You have been a very good friend. Can you tell me if I made the right decision?
Sorry for using this space for my personal interest.
All the best to you.
Regards,
Ranu
Dear Ranu,
My decision to join the course was an aspiration to learn and grow, and to hopefully, God willing, get closer to what Iqbal means to us now. I imagine your decision might be somewhat similar to this? If so, then *I* certainly believe that you made the right decision!
All good wishes,
robert
Thank you,Robert, for your prompt reply.I love learning about Iqbal and very glad
to get the opportunity to do so.
