DP Daily Prompt: Plagiarize yourself Posted by Ranu

This Daily Prompt was about our comments we wrote, while we were visiting different blogs.I took this one from ,”I’m Afraid Of The Dark”  I enjoyed writing my comment for this one. To make it interesting I have copied her title “All Grown Up” and her conversation with Peter Pan:

One second…I’m on the phone to Peter Pan and he wants to make me a Lost Girl.

Oh ,sorry? When was the first time I feel like a grown up? Maturity? What’s that?!

I haven’t grown up and I don’t think I will for a while.I’m a teenager and the idea of being twenty and then thirty(and so on…)freaks me out.I’ll be in the university soon and then I’ll have a job. What if everything goes wrong before then and I fail all my exams? I have to go and hyperventilate into a paper bag.

I came by and wrote my comment.

Ranu: Interesting! I mean very. You are too young to feel grown up.Some do even at twelve. Mark my word ‘some’.There isn’t a whole lot. So you my dear are in a very safe territory. Do not worry about the ripe old age of twenty.Think about it this way, there are three hundred sixty five days in a year, multiply it by five and it is ,one thousand eight-hundred and twenty five days, and do not forget the measly one day, because there has to be a leap year.So it is quite a mouthful. You are a long way away,so please do not worry. I enjoyed this post, thank you.

Reply: I’m Afraid Of The Dark: Thank you. I love reading your comments. Those statistics made me feel less like time is flying past. Thank you again for taking time to read my blog.

If I fall behind O Lord.

my palpitating heart  is trembling

forgive this pain ,O lord forgive me.

forgive this wretchedness, O lord,

if I ever look back.

The sun’s intense heat   dried my  prayer garland in the dish,

forgive my sad fate, O Lord forgive me.

Valkyries (2) Novel by Paulo Coelho Post by Ranu

J. : Paulo’s master.

Chris : Paulo’s wife

Gene : a man in his twentys

J. and Paulo understand each other well. J. the master and Paulo the disciple have a good relationship. At times the disciple is surprised when the master talks about worldly things. When the master admitted women were important to him.In reply to this Paulo said” I used to imagine great masters as people who were far removed from the world.”

J. told his disciple,he was like a river, which has run down to the sea ,he knows its wisdom. He has died and reborn many times, all he has to do is remember. J. told Paulo to break the curse. The task J. said : ” It’s for love. For victory . And for the glory of God”.

J. had to leave Rio,he was happy about the contract he negotiated for the Dutch multinational. Before boarding J. wrote something on a napkin and handed it to Paulo. Thinking it to be a magic formula, he picked up the napkin. It was a verse from a poem. J. told his disciple, During the last century,a man wrote a poem .It’s been true for many generations.”

The following is the verse:

And each man kills the thing he loves,

By all let this be heard,

Some do it with a bitter look,

Some with a flattering word,

The coward does it with a kiss,

The brave man with a sword.

Paulo read and could not stop looking at the words. Paulo realized he has destroyed what he loved. His dreams fell apart when he was about to achieve them.He thought this is something that happens to everyone.J. repeated the task was’ to break the curse’.

Next Coelho meets Gene the young man recommended by J.

To be continued!

It is simple, I’ll split my mind into two one will do all the inside thinking such as spiritual and the other one will handle the outside world ,which probably will be tougher. I will handle the spiritual side and the clone will take care of the worldly affairs,i,e, all the cooking, cleaning ,buying groceries etc. I t will be fun, provided the clone co-operates. All the struggle will take place inside!
