DP Daily Prompt: Art Appreciation Posted by Ranu
When I go to an Art exhibition, I love viewing all the beautiful pieces of Art before me.I may pay a little more attention if it is someone who is renowned. I go to see art and it is not based on the artist’s life style or political affiliation. Sometimes I try to see how the artist has used colours and learn from it .
When I see an attractive piece of work I’ll buy it if I can afford it. I hope Art is not mixed up with politics,it’ll be a shame if it does.
Dear Ranu,
Thank you for this.
I personally believe that art is a force that can dramatically influence world conditions. With this in mind, I encourage my daughter to pursue it with a passion.
All good wishes,
robert
I agree with you Robert.Thank you.
Ranu
Thank you Robert.
Art shows the way we want our world to look like, Art expresses itself into politics and politics expresses itself into art, so in my humble opinion both coexist.
You are right.Thank you Akhtar Bhai.
Thank you Akhtar Bhai.
I always had problem with politics.I see them as the bad guys who are here to spoil the fun. When I think about all the problems caused by politics and politicians.I feel they should be barred from places like art exhibitions and everything that has to do with Art.
I just read a comment by someone about Crystal mosque.their problem is why was Chinese architecture used for constructing the mosque. The way I see it is,it’s beautiful, what’s wrong with Chinese architecture. This kind of statement can make a chain reaction. This is the kind of politics,I stay away from.If they can co-exist without controversy, well and good, but can they? This is my question.I respect your choice. It’s all I can say.
When I replied to your comment first,I, excuse me for writing this, didn’t pay attention,I was doing something else.I know it’s wrong and I’ll admit it.This is one of those days where I bit more than I can chew.I had an obligation to reply, and I did without comprehending your comment.I was bothered by it and decided to clarify my thoughts.
Thank you for your helpful comments.I hope you don’t mind.
Regards,
Chaman
