DP Daily Prompt: Isn’t Your Face Red
It was a couple of years ago,I just started the online course. I noticed at the bottom of my comment, the image of garbage cans. I was unaware what it meant. I can be very impulsive. I didn’t give it a second thought. I got in touch with the person and complained. When my daughter came in I complained to her as well, you should have seen her facial expression it was nothing less than,”Priceless”.
My daughter explained what it meant. I was so embarrassed, I didn’t know how to apologize. I did several times. I even apologize now, whenever I think of how stupid I was. Technology is so far ahead of me,Sometimes I’m afraid to do or say anything.
Dear Ranu,
Thank you for this.
Technology can be intimidating. At work, I surround myself with others who know far more about technology than I so that I can request their assistance with things :-).
All good wishes,
robert
Thank you Robert.

Bah, the technology! I usually get phone calls from my mom “why isn’t my phone working!! what have I done wrong?” – ehrm did you remember to charge it…?
Thank you.
You are just very caring, and sensitive :-). There was no need to apologize in the first place. I agree that Blogger should think of a better icon than a garbage can. If nothing else, it looks ugly. Also, I do not think that it is the most motivational icon to place next to a comment box. Perhaps something like a crossing-out sign could be more appropriate, or something.
I hope that you are not feeling bad anymore 🙂
I didn’t think you’d read this post. I do when I remember it.
