DP Daily Prompt: Karma Chameleon
I truly believe our thoughts and actions will influence what happens to me in the future. There are so many examples of how ones Karma catches up with them. In sports there are athletes who become the best. The hidden fact behind their awesome talent is they take performance enhancing drugs. Do they get away,no they are caught, maybe not when they are playing but after they retire. They end up paying a heavy price for their deceit.
Then there are serial killers who do get caught and face death penalty. This is what Karma is.
This is why we say,”Crime does not pay.”
When I know my words and actions will influence me in the future, I will refrain from doing anything bad because I will have to face Karma.
I believe in this proverb: “Life is an echo ; all comes back ,the good the bad and true,so give the world the best you have and the best will come back to you.”

Dear Ranu,
Thank you for this post which, to me, highlights how the future may be determined by the present. Of course, the so-called future is never the future when it arrives, but is instead, still, the present :).
It is interesting how it is said that, if one wishes a good death, then one is to live a good life.
All good wishes,
robert
Thank you Robert.

Thank you for your visit to my blog. I enjoyed reading your thoughts on karma as well; the things you say are definitely true to a point and I will agree to disagree agreeably, as they say. I don’t want to poke holes but I will point out my own motivation when faced with a choice, which is not to fear karma but to do what’s best for others first and then myself to ensure that society is not disharmonious on my account. I do know that the things I do will influence my future, and that is karma, but I don’t fear it because I don’t play games. Those cheaters and criminals who do get caught – they get what they deserve, what they paid for with their karma.
Thank you Rob,It’s great to be able to read other posts and know how they view Karma.
I enjoyed reading yours.
