DP Daily Prompt: Brilliant Disguise
It was a while ago, my Mom’s cousin came to visit us one day. He had a long beard and was dressed like a Sadhu. My brother did not recognize him at all. He was about to throw him out. I was in the bathroom taking a shower,my brother was increasingly agitated to see this stranger in our house, who kept arguing with him, he did not tell him who he was.
When the conversation got louder I heard them. I told my brother to stop arguing because he was our uncle. How did I know,I recognized his voice.
My mother came out and started laughing she asked him why he was disguised like that. My uncle was a politician,he always gave speeches against the government. The government employed some detectives to follow him, so they could trace him and incarcerate him.

Dear Ranu,
Thank you for this post. I think appearances fool most of us in thinking all manner of things.
All good wishes,
robert
My uncle had to disguise himself to stay out of jail. He criticized the government so much,
they thought the best place for him was a prison.
