Writing Prompt: Idyllic

What does your ideal community look like? How is it organized, and how is community life structure? What values does the community share?

I do have an ideal community in my mind whether it will ever come true I cannot tell. Before I go any further,I’d like to say why I long for an ideal community.

The communities I have seen are very depressing,on the one hand you see traffic jams, all kinds of vehicles on the road, there are the public buses overcrowded with people, There are some seats, the rest of the aisle is full of people standing to get to their destination. Then there one or two passengers or owners of cars moving along with the heavy traffic, these people have nothing to worry, their vehicle is cool because the car is equipped with air condition. They are fortunate they’re dropped off right in front of their destination, they only walk a few steps to go in.

My ideal community will have public transportation but it will not be crowded, the fare will be affordable, so that everyone can use it.

There will be educational institutions where besides education, citizens will be taught to respect each other .

There will be affordable housing for anyone who needs it.

I want everyone to be happy. No one should be homeless or hungry.

I want to see a community where everyone helps each other.

My community should be well organized,if there are natural disasters help should be instant for those who are in trouble.

DP Daily Prompt: Moments to Remember

pad2014-s.png (308×60)

What are three most memorable moments….good or bad, happy or sad…in your life?Go

I had more than three memorable moments, the three that I consider happy are: 1. the birth of my first daughter, I remember running to see her in her cot, every time she cried. My husband took pictures of her whenever he saw her in a different pose. She didn’t know what we were doing, but looking at the pictures gave me so much joy.  I bought any cute dress I saw, she wasn’t too thrilled to be changed each time we bought a  new dress. I liked to dress her up for my pleasure.

The second moment of happiness was when I was awarded the scholarship to go to London, it was one dream I wanted to come true and it did.

Third one was  one that I never thought of for a long time, but I only knew two lines of Iqbal’s poetry and wanted to learn about him more, the opportunity came unexpectedly  I was very thankful and will continue to do so.

Sad was watching my father dying and I didn’t know it was permanent.

Second, when our cat JD died.

Third when we had to sell our beautiful house, because we were leaving that town.

There are many others happy and sad moments, these were the ones I wanted to share.
