365 Writing Prompts: The golden hour

6;AM the best hour of the day, or too close to your 3: AM bedtime?

6: AM is the best hour of the day for me, I woke up a few minutes after this morning to say my morning prayer, it is called “Fajr” in Arabic, since the sun rises after 7:30 AM in my neck of the woods, waking up at 6:AM is a perfect time for me. I get enough time to wash and get ready for prayer.

It takes twenty five minutes to complete my prayer which is still before sunrise, then I have plenty of time to eat breakfast, take a shower, get dressed and do my outside chores.

Today is a very gloomy Monday, rain has been falling since Friday today is not different, it’s also foggy, October is not looking so promising, there are a few days left for November to show its face, well I’m a bit concerned because November means snow anytime, shoveling or getting someone to do it for us is another headache I’m not looking forward to.

I sometimes wonder is it possible to fall asleep in the beginning of November and wake up in December? It’s probably the dumbest thought, but wouldn’t it be lovely?

Wait a minute we haven’t had “Halloween” yet how can I think of November and December? Sorry folks, “Happy Halloween, to you all, especially to all the children of the world, wishing you’d  get bags and bags full of candy!”
