DP Daily Prompt: One at a Time

pad2014-s.png (308×60)

Today write a post about the topic of your choice— using only one syllable words.

Wait nice girl , I can give you one wish , what do you want?  I told June.

Can you give me a pen? she asked, I need it to write on my hand.

But why I said, your hand will not look clean.

June said: I do not have cash to buy a book, can you give me some? One day I will pay you back.

I gave her some coins to buy a book.

June bought the book, came back to show me.

How nice I said, now you can write in your book.

From that day on  June and I were best friends!

I just realized how difficult it is to use only one   syllable words.

365 Writing Prompts: A source of Anxiety

Write about a noise—–or even a silence— that won’t go away(We’ll let you interpret this in different ways…)

“Silence is not always golden.” I found out recently, if it is too quiet in my house something is going on, especially my kittens they must be up to something.

One day our two felines, Raphael and Gabriel were unusually quiet, I was happy thinking they were napping, I ignored their silence and concentrated on my work.

I was deep in thought  when the sound of meow brought me back to reality, I got up to find out where the felines were, sure enough they were busy chewing the cover of my new book.

I just said, “now I know why you two were so quiet.”
