365 Writing Prompts: Brainwave
What’s the last idea you’ve ever had? Regale us with every detail of the idea–the idea itself where it came to you,and the problem it solved?
I once thought why not I translate the lyrics of one of my favorite Tagore songs.
I sat down listened to the song and felt only a poet like him can write lyrics like that. I heard the song many times never cared to think what it was about, sang with it, then suddenly something told me he is actually telling us how everything will be, when he is gone.
In the last verse he writes, “Who says I won’t join my friends in the playground, I’d participate in all the games.”
It seems he came full circle, he was born lived life, then death took him and he was reborn.
The title of his song is,”Forever Me.”

Dear Robert,
I think I did.
Dear Robert,
Thank you.
What a wonderful comment with a lot of truth. Words of a writer live forever by the amount of times they are recalled.
Thank you Ranu for bringing Tagore back to life.
Thank you so much for your wonderful comment Sonya.
