DP Daily Prompts: Clone Wars

If you could clone yourself, how would you split up your responsibilities?

My problem with cloning is,which part of me do I dislike. If I could discern that I’ll most certainly give the responsibilities of going out to do chores to the part that gives me more trouble. But I know it won’t work there isn’t a part of me that gives me trouble, we work together quite smoothly, giving too much work to one part and not enough to other  will cause a lot of bad feeling  as a result cloning won’t work for me.

I am really not in favor of cloning myself. I already split my responsibilities, the work that requires thinking I let my brain handle it. The arms and legs do their part. the eyes always wave the caution signal, and the nose does its job of smell.

I am afraid I do not like to split myself, everything is working fine!

365 Writing Prompts: The Clock

Write about anything you’d like. Somewhere in your post include the sentence, “I heard the door slam, and immediately looked at the clock.”

This morning I noticed the sky was exceptionally white, the trees were still and the bare branches seemed frozen. I had an eerie feeling it probably is the calm before the storm.

Not another storm I thought, we just had one not that long ago, the sky looked the same as today. That storm dumped forty-five cm. of snow.

I checked the weather channel, I saw no faces what happened I thought. Anytime it’s this silent it scares me.

Oh no I see Chris the weatherman, he is predicting lots and lots of snow, what should I do, start cooking in case the power goes off, or wait and see, these winter storms are terrible, not only we get too much snow, the strong wind blows the snow all over the places.

As I was trying to decide if I should believe the weatherman and get things ready so we have food if the power goes off, I was  feeling so lazy I wasn’t   getting any energy to cook,to read, to write to do anything.

I was struggling to decide what I should do, “I heard the door slam, and immediately looked at the clock.” It was barely nine am, who could it be, I stood up and looked out it was the person from the “Geek Squad” he was here to deliver the new dish washer and take the old one.

I went and opened the door, in came a tall young man with a million dollar smile, “where will I put the dish washer?” he asked.

“In the kitchen”, I said.

“I am in a hurry, he said, I won’t be able to install this today, the wind is picking up, I have to be back in the store with the old one, before the storm gets worse.”

“Storm, I said,  where is it ?”

“It’s coming, get your scoop and shovel ready,” he said!
