DP Daily Prompt: I Walk the Line

Have you got a code you live by? What are the principles or set of values you actively apply in your life?

One of the principles I value is treat everyone with love. It is something  priceless and it makes our world a beautiful place.

Secondly tell the truth at any cost, it will be rewarded by our creator.

Third: try to give up the habit of gossiping, you may not realize but it hurts the people we gossip about.

Four : No one is perfect keep that in mind, never ridicule anyone, it will come and bite you some day.

Five: Stay away from jealousy, it is one of those traits that can ruin you as well.

I try to live by these rules and I also remember the phrase ,

” Life is an echo all comes back,

The good, the bad, the true,

So give the world the best you have,

And the best will return to you.”

365 Writing Prompts: Judgement Day

If you were to judge your favorite book by its cover, would you still read it?

I always pick up books to read if I like the title. I do not have any books that have fancy covers.  If I were to judge my favorite book by its cover I will still read it. It’s not the cover but the title attracted my attention.

Once my daughter bought a book for me, she said it was a good one,I read the title, it was ,”A Long Way  Home” I looked at the cover, it was the picture of a little boy.I was curious I felt it might be the story of the boy, may be he was lost. The words A long Way, the picture was of a little Indian boy.

I wasted no time thinking I started reading. It turned out to be one of my favorite books.
