    Thank you so very much for sharing these sung Iqbal jewels! We very much like them.

    We like every word. These lines are, however, so moving to us.

    “My dark misdeeds found no refuge in the wide world—
    The only refuge they found was in Thy beginning Forgiveness.”

    “Even as I laid down my head in prostration a cry arose from the ground:
    Thy heart is enamoured by the idol, what shalt thy gain in prayer?”

    Thanks for sharing this :). I have heard this ghazal previously in the voice of other singers so this was a new addition to my repertoire, for which I thank you.
