Writing 101,Day Seventeen: Your personality on the Page

Today’s Prompt: We all have anxieties, worries, and fears. What are you scared of ? Address one of your fears.

There was a situation when one know it all started dissecting my answer to a question, point by point, I totally lost it and wrote what I thought of it in my style. But my politeness got the better of me and I deleted my reply.

My fear is if this creature did it again , I’d let her have it and say, Yo Miss know it all, if ya know everyting why don’t ya teach and leave us alone.

  1. I have found sometimes it helps to write/type out something when in anger but not send it to anyone. And then other times you need to show people you can stand your ground, but do it in as few words as possible.

    • Hi Sonya,
Here I was supposed to be someone other than me, they have given examples, where there are too many swear words,I decided
even though it’s not me I still couldn’t use those words.I’m also not good in writing informal phrases.

  2. Dear Ranu,

In addition to what Sonya shares here, I also believe that, generally, “no one kicks a dead dog.” By this, I mean that people may pick apart something you say, or dissect something you write, because of the very fact that it has value and life. If it lacked value, they would not be attracted to analyzing it in the place.

Thank you for sharing with us this powerful post.

    All good wishes,

    robert

    • My dear Robert,
God bless you, so much wisdom is rare in a human, what you wrote makes me feel better already.
I’m thankful to have your acquaintance honestly. 🙂
