Daily Prompt: Take Me to the moon
How far would you go for someone you love? How far would you want someone else to go for you?
I think there should be a limit to what one can do for someone. If my kid asks me to pay down payment for a house she wants to buy, I will not pay it, but will remind her, she has a good job she should pay it herself. If saying this will break my relationship with her so be it.
We all love our kids but if they demand outrageous sum of money for something they are capable of paying themselves, I will not give the money. It does not mean I do not love them, it teaches them to be responsible.
I will have to point out the fact, “Money does not grow on trees.”
