Tell us about the top five places you’ve always wanted to visit.

I’ve always wanted to visit Agra(India) to see the Taj Mahal. It has so much history, I’d love to visit the inside of the building to know everything about it.

The next place is the , “The hanging Gardens of Babylon.”

Some stories indicate the ‘Hanging Gardens’ towered hundreds of feet in the air. But the archaeological explorations indicate a modest height, but still impressive.

The city of Babylon under king  Nebuchadnezzar 11 was a wonder to ancient travelers. Greek Historian, Herodotus wrote in 450 BC, “in addition to its size Babylon surpasses in splendor any city in the known world in those times.

Number three is the Pyramids in Egypt.

The most famous pyramids are those found in Giza, on the outskirts of Cairo, Egypt.

Number four is “The Colosseum In Rome”

The Colosseum is situated east of the Roman forum. Its construction began in 72 AD under emperor Vespasian and was completed in 80 AD under his successor and heir Titus.

The fifth I’d love to visit is Machu Picchu.

Machu Picchu is situated on a mountain ridge above the sacred valley. It was built by the Incas who abandoned it after a century. It was declared a Peruvian historical sanctuary in 1981 and in 1983 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In 2007 by an  internet worldwide poll, it was voted one of the New Wonders Of The World.

All of the images are from Wikipedia, which I copied, thank you.

The above are my top five places I always wanted to visit. 🙂
