Daily Prompts: Worst Case Scenario

Of all the awful possibilities, what is the worst possible thing that could happen to you today? Now, what about the best?

Today my plan is to begin the day to learn Spanish , then read my third book to meet the challenge of reading twenty-five books  in 2016. My second book is a very stout one, it has 1168 pages, the space between the lines on the page is narrow and the print is very small. With all the disadvantages I have mentioned, I want to squeeze in the advantage I’d get from completing this book. The author is Ayn Rand and I love her expressions in this book. It happens to be the first one of hers I’m reading. So far I have read 422 pages out of 1168. I intend to stick to it, but every now and then I want to reprieve my eyes from the tiny print , which is why I’m reading two books simultaneously.

The only thing that is interfering with my plan is my brain which is making me doze off much too often. Adding to this misery is my back which reminds me, I’m putting too much strain on it, by continuously sitting in one position.

The worse would be if I’m unable to learn a bit of Farsi and  continue reading Ayn Rand’s book, it will be the greatest tragedy, I can think of  at this moment.

So far I am closing in on the second chapter of the third book, I’ve already spent enough time learning Spanish. These to me are positive accomplishments so far, the day is still young, and I think I’d have enough time to say “Hello To Atlas Shrugged,” and learn  some more  Farsi.

Spanish and Farsi are the two languages I’m dealing with now. Arabic and French will have to wait until my brain gets used to the load, if I do not, everything will come crashing down and it’ll be a pain I won’t be able to handle.

So far things are looking fabulous.

I do have to write a limerick as well, I’d like to have Tagore as my subject. If I’m unable to come up with something good, I’d try some fictional character !
