Children_dressed_as_Batman_and_Robin,_1966.jpg (328×439)

Today  is Halloween celebration  for the children, they will visit the neighborhood in their eerie costumes. some would be ghosts, some will look freakish and odd. Batman and Robin would be there too.

There will be children dressed as an angel or a fairy. Mom will probably help them to be scary. It’s a night children look forward to, they’ll bring buckets and hope they’ll be filled with candies.

Have a great Halloween Everyone!

Happiness  is going to beautiful  Montreal,

Happiness is  using the  subway and eating at the Mall.

Happiness is going to the Eaton Center,

Happiness is paying for the stuff with my quarters.

Happiness  is telling the sales girl, I can’t speak French,

Happiness  is asking the girl if I can sit on the bench.

This week in Paris

Listen young Harris

Number 1 can change

If Murray wins the title

And Djokovic does not reach the final!

……………………………

I’m sure Djokovic is not ready,

To hand over Top Spot.

Murray is now Red Hot,

Doesn’t matter

whether Djokovic is ready or not!

……………………….

The Scot trails the Serbian,

By only four hundred fifteen points,

Jo Willie Tsonga the third in line,

May spoil Murray’s chances,

by avenging his defeat in Vienna,

I tell you that’ll teach Andy a lesson!

…………………………..

But Djokovic is the one who controls his fate,

All he has to do is reach the final,

Leaving Murray looking angry at his mate,

For her  prayer  could not win him the title!

see the neighbor’s house.

Inside the students,

busy in the kitchen.

They are probably ,

cooking breakfast.

Now I see a very,

fat cat going in and out in the,

bushes, my felines are,

watching it’s movement,

I think they want to,

check out,but I cannot let them,

go out!

We all  celebrate it in many ways

We have a special prayer,

In a mosque we all gather,

We conclude the day by eating special foods on trays!

Writing Intro to Poetry, Day Four: Journey

#Introtopoetry,Day,Four: Journey

Poetic Device- Simile

A long road, running in to the horizon
‘Hurry,’ said my husband, ‘we have a long way to go,’
We got in the car, ready to see the long highway you know.
Some places the ride on the road was straight as an arrow
Then the twist and turns like a snake gave us the jitters.
To break the monotony, my husband yelled, ‘where are the fritters?’
………………………
Said the daughter, ‘get it quick, Mom
Dad’s  hungry like a hippo,
only food will make him calm.’
‘Oh dear what will I do kiddo,
I think the food is left with the balm!’
…………………………..
Away drove my husband with a long face,
grumbling all the way, until he saw a place.
The sign read, ‘Fanny’s Delectable Food,’
Instantly it transformed my hubby’s mood.
……………………………
We filled our stomach with greasy eatable
‘Now are you glad?’ I asked my spouse.
‘No,’ he said, ‘I wish you didn’t forget the fritters,
the greasy food is giving me the jitters.’
………………………..
After all the arguments we were moseying along
Suddenly we saw a cop, who didn’t belong.
‘Stop the car,’ he yelled, ‘you were speeding!’
My better half tried his tricks,
It was no use the cop could not be convinced.
…………………………..
One hundred dollars was a heavy fine
My dear spouse was way out of line.
Nature was hinting why we had all these snaky turns
We ignored it, in the end it was a lesson we had to learn!
