Daily Post : Volunteer
In response to daily post’s prompt : Volunteer
I volunteered to bring my sister, my brother,my husband’s nephew, and my husband’s cousin’s two kids, and also sponsored my cousin who was refused immigration by the department of immigration. None of these people appreciated our effort, not only that, they don’t even keep in touch.
But when I donated some money to ‘Red Cross,’ for the people of Fort McMurray. The Red Cross thanked me many times. Does this mean relatives are not thankful, and it’s better to help non-relatives?
Giving my time to volunteer in various organizations is a good thought, but I could never do it. I worked from 8:30 am to 4 pm week days. Week-ends I baked and cooked and froze the food for the week. I found it difficult. If I say I volunteered at home would it make sense?

Dear Ranu,
Thank you for sharing this post with us about volunteering. Thank goodness for those who help others without needing to be paid.
All good wishes,
robert
Dear Robert,
Thank you. 🙂
I think it’s wonderful that you sponsored so many people so that they could move to Canada!
Philippa, thank you so much for your comment. 🙂
