Day Five: Hook ‘Em With a Quote’

True happiness is to enjoy the present, without anxious dependence upon the future, not to amuse ourselves with either hopes or fears but to rest satisfied with what we have, which is sufficient, for he that is so wants nothing. The greatest blessings of mankind are within us and within our reach. A wise man is content with his lot, whatever it may be, without wishing for what he has not.__Senecca

While looking for an appropriate quote, I hit upon this one. I must admit, to me it’s the best quote I have read.

I believe in enjoying the present instead of worrying about the future. I am satisfied with what I have, I do not envy others who have more.I did as much as I could and feel it is time for me to enjoy myself. As long as I am healthy I cannot complain about anything else.

I have good friends who take  time to call me, inquire how I am and invite me to visit them. I appreciate everything I get from friends and my daughter. I think I’m a very lucky person.

I go out when I want to, I use my time reading books by great writers. I have what it takes to be happy. I am very lucky.

I remember one of my teacher’s wrote in my Autograph Book,

“Dear Chaman,

May God keep you ever loyal and may His blessings be continually showered upon you.”
