Everyday Inspiration Day Nine: Writing and Not Writing

Day Nine: Writing and Not Writing

What do you need in your day-to-day life to maintain balance. Running? Yoga? Gardening? Painting? Cooking?

I’m not a full time writer, usually I do the daily post’s prompts. Right now while I’m busy doing the ‘Everyday Inspiration Course,’ I am taking a break from the daily post prompts.I also participate in the limerick challenge every week.

Of all the things listed I find cooking is my favorite. I avoid intense labor such as Gardening and Running, both need excessive energy, I therefore shy away from them.

I don’t think I need extra time for what I do, if I get extra time I’d be bored I wouldn’t know what to do with the hours and minutes at my disposal, yes there are a lot of things a person can do, I do not get the motivation to do them.

I like spending time reading, at present I’m reading, ‘A House In The Sky’, by Amanda Lindhout and Sara Corbett. It’s interesting to know how brave Amanda is. Visiting unknown places and coming across dangerous humans is something I wouldn’t do.

I like writing but I need breaks otherwise I’d stop.

  1. Dear Ranu,

I like how, in this post, you describe how you maintain balance with what you do and how you manage your time.

    All good wishes,
