Mind and Life Limerick Challenge, Week : 50
Limerick Challenge, Week 50 : Goals
wikipedia image
Every time I fail, I’m close to not reaching my goal,
Tell me how many strikes will stop me, my dear soul?
Is it over for me,
Or do you not agree?
That we only get three chances to achieve our goal!
…………………………….:)
Dear Ranu,
Your poem immediately brought to mind the will, and its ability to achieve, fail, and achieve again. This is inspiring!
All good wishes,
robert

Oh let me post it. Thank you for your comment. 🙂
I think I’ve passed my three strikes long ago, but then another chance to hit the ball pops up. Nice limerick!
Thank you Frank, Appreciate your comment so much. 🙂
I’m glad that you decided to post it 🙂 I especially like the second line, which dramatically informs us that this an address to one’s soul.

It’s a beautiful limerick, Ranu, but I feel every time we fail we are nearer to our goal and not the other way round!
p.s: apologies for the delayed comment, I was out of town and couldn’t check my blog!
Dear Rashmi,
