In response to daily post’s prompt: Pause
It is healthy to pause when working on something important. Our mind needs a break to work efficiently if we can give it rest. Even five minutes can make a difference.
In teaching institutions like schools, colleges, and universities. It is worthwhile for students to have a break, when they can have a cup of coffee, tea or refreshments to break the continuous monotony of reading, writing, and other subjects related to school.
I feel at times I do not give myself sufficient time out, when I can get up stretch my muscles, drink some water or juice. Since our body is like a machine we must take care of it and make sure we do not make it work more than is necessary. If we don’t our performance will suffer and as a result our work will be unsatisfactory.
