In response to daily post’s one-word prompt : Uniform
Our school uniform from kindergarten to senior high was white shirts and navy blue skirts. I liked our school uniform, we were not allowed to come to school wearing whatever we liked. It looked smart and people outside the school recognized the school we were from.
Now a days, children wear whatever they please, from blue jeans to multi-colored dresses or shirts depending on the gender of the human. Although wearing clothes according to gender is not that common.
Our modern world has adopted an unusual style of clothing, which is interesting.
Speaking about uniform, we have certain dishes where the shape and size of a vegetable is exactly the same. One example is potatoes, they come in different sizes, shapes and colors . Sometimes to prepare the potato curry ( steamed potatoes), the potatoes are small, round and the same size. It’s sometimes a trying job to get the potatoes the same or uniform size and shape. You can cook the curry using different sizes, it does not look appetizing or pretty. I’m not sure if the taste is uniform.
