Daily Prompt : Taper

In response to one-word prompt : Taper

There’s a raging snowstorm in our city,

I’m huddled at my house, it isn’t pretty.

The weatherman says it’ll taper off soon,

I do not believe it’ll wind down this June.

What’s your gut feeling about this storm,

I think it’s a sign the weather will turn warm!
