In response to one word prompt : Riff
Unfortunately despite the fact we are equal,
The fact remains that some of us still are unequal.
All the riff-raff about my friend nearly cost him his job,
The supervisor’s decision to fire him made my friend sob.
Luckily his union gave him the protection ,
Who stepped in and cancelled the decision!

Sorry to read the plight of the unlucky friend. Some consolation that there was some kind of relief at least.
Yes at first he was unlucky, but the teachers union,
helped him to get back his job. 🙂
