In response to one-word prompt : Patience

I never had so much trouble speaking as I have now,

It’s like your gathering place is not the same as before.

I ask myself who has snatched your patience and tranquility?

You were never so restless as you are today.

I don’t know what kind of spell her eyes put on me,

I was never this meek before.

Bewitching eyes were always my enemy,

I was never a victim of those eyes as I am now.

I never had so much trouble speaking as I have now!

Daily Prompt : Incubate

In response to one-word prompt : Incubate

My mom loved all kinds of animals, she had a lot of hens, when the hen started   laying eggs she prepared a basket for the hen to lay all the eggs in it. After a few days the hen would sit on the eggs and covered them with her warm feathers.

We had a lot of fun watching the hens, when it was time for the eggs to hatch, we’d quietly watch  when the little yellow chick would break out of the eggs with its beak.
