Short poems by Rabindranath Tagore
‘The Wasp and the Honeybee’
For this tiny honeycomb,
you are boasting so much!
My dear brother, come hither,
show me a better one before I leave.
‘Dwelling Place’
Announced the mango tree to the creeping tree,one day,
We were all equal in this green forest;
man has brought with him his own taste__
now the distinction has begun, equality comes to an end.
‘Necessity of Relationship’
Beggar’s bundle remarked hey money bag,
how can you forget we are related?
Money bag uttered, you would have done the same
if the money was in your bundle and not in mine.
