DP Daily Prompt: No Time to Waste

Fill in the blank: “Life is too short to——.” Now, write a post telling us how you’ve come to that conclusion.

It is a good idea to remember, life is too short to waste thinking about the past. I’ve consumed more time dwelling about things that have happened that was unpleasant and not worth remembering, it only gave me heartache, I think I have learned from it.

I feel I should only interact with those who are positive and helpful . I do not see them every day but whenever I get the opportunity I meet with them and talk about things that are pleasant.

We can make things delightful for us if we want to, crying over spilled milk helps no one. The only thing that is satisfying for me is I always tried to help when there was a need, what happened afterwards is something I cannot mend. If I keep thinking about it, it only makes me bitter and want  my time back to do things right, it never happens, this is the time I tell myself: “life is too short, enjoy it while you can.”

DP Daily Prompt:Picky Tongues

pad2014-s.png (308×60)

You have to choose one flavor that your sense of taste will no longer be able to distinguish.Sweet, sour, bitter, salty, Umami, spicy( not a taste per se,but we’re generous ): which one do you choose to lose?

I know I cannot have sugar only for taste because of the damaging effect on the human body, salt is the same, excessive salt raises blood pressure,I haven’t heard anything negative about bitter, but bitter flavor alone is not going to do it for me.

Umami flavor sounds good to me. It is good for health, it is a protein which is made up of amino acids which are essential for life. I will pick umami flavor.
