DP Daily Prompt: Dust In The Wind

pad2014-s.png (308×60)

Have you made a bucket list? Now’s the time—Write about the things you want to do and see before you become dust in the wind.

Bucket list I’ve never made any

But if you want

I can make it quite zany!

I’d like to go to Timbucto

Be back from there

In a day or two!

On my bucket list

I won’t  forget to write

All the friends I’d invite!

My thoughts and actions

Are not the same

To tame a tiger is my aim!

If my list befuddles you

It does me too

There is very little I can do!

I can do much better

You may think

Honestly I ran out of ink!

I had to hurry

And to scurry

Before I became

A mere dust in the wind!

NaBloPoMo Nov,16 song, translation by Ranu https://sabethville.wordpress.com

So many tunes and so many songs,

If they stop some day,

I know that will be the day

You will also forget me.

How long is this life,

How long will these sweet

moments last.

Still I found you,

I know you will forget me,

I found that song

for which I gave my heart.

I don’t feel any remorse

today I have forgotten

everything about her.

We all  lose everything that’s

precious in this life,

I know you will forget me.

So many tunes and so many songs,

If they stop some day

I know that will be the day

you will also forget me!

The above is my translation.I thought this is a song, most of you will like. This is my post for ‘NaBloPoMo’

Aito Shoor Aar Aito Gaan “So many tunes,so many song”by Tagore Translation by Ranu

So many tunes and so many songs

if they stop some day

I know   you will also forget me that day.

So many tunes and so many songs

if they stop some day

I know you will also forget me that day.

How long will this life be

how many more auspicious moment

in spite of that I found you.

I also sang that song

for which I gave my heart.

I also sang that song

for which I gave my heart.

There is no harm today

I forgot everything.

You lose everything in this life,

I know you will forget me.

So many tunes and so many songs

if they stop some day

I know you will also forget me.

‘The Wasp and the Honeybee’

For this tiny honeycomb,

you are boasting so much!

My dear brother, come hither,

show me a better one before I leave.

‘Dwelling Place’

Announced the mango tree to the creeping tree, one day,

We were all equal in this green forest;

man has brought with him his own taste__

now the distinction has begun, equality comes to an end.

Money

Beggar’s bundle remarked  hey money bag,

how can you forget we are related?

Money bag uttered, you would have done the same

if the money was in your bundle and not in mine.
