2016 to me was a year of destiny

Now that it’s Gone, I wait with agony,

How will the New year shape up,

Will there be room to cheer up ?

Or everything will be status quo,

Or will I hear voice with a firm, “No!”

Gone are the days when we thought life is easy

Getting gainful employment was a matter of time

Proudly I took my certificates and placed it

Gary the employer made a guttural sound

Cruelly he showed me the door and said,

“We need more much more young scholar

Your time has not come so why bother!”

 

Ghastly crime my superiors committed 

They gave me certificates that were not

Good enough to get the job I wanted

Where will I go what will I do 

Can anyone in this world 

Tell me what must I do?
