Poetry, Day Six: Screen( poetic theme: Enjambment)
I will remember Saira forever:
A quiet helpful human, and a lovely soul,
I will never meet someone like her,
looking after me,
as if I was her real sister.

Writing: Intro to Poetry : Journey
Poetic Device: Simile
With heavy hearts we left our house,
All around us was as quiet as a mouse.
The clouds above us bid us good-bye,
Saying, we’re as sad as an orphan nigh.
Are we making a mistake I thought,
No, came the whisper you are not.
Your husband is as sick as our feline JD,
He needs a doctor as good as Brady.
The journey was as smooth as cream,
We arrived home as if it was a dream!

Poetry, Day Three: Friend
Theme Acrostic
My aunt Bela was my best friend
You’d love her too if you met her
Always busy in her kitchen
Undecided people bothered her so
Never would she ask them for advice
Tirelessly she did her daily work.
