This is the time of year when Jolly describes ones feeling,

We here in our city are very happy, we didn’t go shovelling.

I wish we’d have lots of rain instead of snow,

We won’t fall on cruel winter’s ice when we go.

I am enjoying all the blessings of snowless days,

For I cannot really believe this is how it’ll stay!
