Writing Prompt :INTJ

Too much noise at parties makes me look for a place I can hide. I do not enjoy hearing everyone yelling to make their voices heard, I’ve been to parties where children are also invited and these kids yell so loud it almost makes me feel I’d be deaf in no time if I continue to experience this kind of noise.

I like parties where people are not so loud, everyone is enjoying themselves. Food is the main thing, when there is a variety, it becomes more fun to taste a bit of everything.

I also like it when I don’t have to stay at a party past my bed time.

DP Daily Prompt: First post by Ranu

My first job as a teacher was in my little hometown. I was warned by my Prof.,according to him it was a bad idea to be a school teacher. My big brother wanted me to teach in a college. My sister was the principal of the college.I knew it was not a good idea,my sister was bossy enough at home,to extend it at work, would be something I could not dream of doing.

I happily took a position in a local school. There were only a few kids in the school. The kids ranged from age five to fourteen. My first day was going well,at recess I noticed a five year old crying. I asked him what was wrong,he told me,he wants to go home. His Mom left him. I looked around and saw a a girl his age, running around playing with some other children.I stopped her,I asked, pointing to the boy,’will you play with him’.She was happy to oblige.Minutes later I found the two holding hands, happy and contented. Mom was forgotten in no time.

That same day I was called in to teach various kids in different grades. They liked me and I had fun teaching them.

Well I told myself, had I listened to big brother and took the college job,I’d be the one shedding tears,my bossy sister would make me forget the word teacher!

DP Daily Prompt: Blogger With A Cause Post by Ranu

I think I have taken care of my responsibilities. The kids are now adults. They are capable of looking after themselves,I hope they are. From the time they were infants,up to now I did everything for them. I fed them, clothed them, taught them anything they wanted I gave them.I have come to a point where I sense they are not as generous with their time as I was. This probably is my fate.

I think I’d want to do something for someone other than my family. I carried a lot of burden to raise them. When I look back I feel I’ve done more than the two younger ones deserve. It’s my time to turn to something else which would make me feel better.

I am so disappointed I don’t feel like volunteering for anything. I fear I may face another set of ungrateful people,I’d have difficulty coping if this happens.

Anyway I am seriously thinking of setting up a scholarship for kids in my area. How it will turn out I have no idea,I presume better than the two I’ve raised. This is all I think for now.It may change when I think some more.

I was unable to find anyone to discuss what they are thinking about. What I was thinking was why is the water from the tap orange. The answer was they were cleaning the valve and it will take couple of hours to get clear water.Since I was supposed to take a shower and will have to wait.I called my friend in Montreal to find out what she was thinking about.

The following is the dialogue between Ranu, that’s me and Dilruba my friend:

Ranu : How are you?

Dilruba :  I am fine,I am thinking what will I cook for supper.

Ranu: Are you having guests?

Dilruba:  No my kids are coming for lunch tomorrow,I want to cook some food so they can take home.

Ranu: What do they like, that they don’t have time to cook?

Dilruba : They all love chicken,I am thinking of cooking some more dishes,it will help because they can eat the whole week without cooking.

Ranu: I might come to see you, hopefully in August,if you are free.

Dilruba: I always love to see you, come any time.

Ranu: I think I’ll book my flight for August,it was nice talking to you.Take care and goodbye.
