Tagore Song :akash bhara

Starry skies, world full of life,

I am surrounded by them,

This astonishing sight

Awakens the song in my heart.

The surging waves,

ebb and flow of tide

oscillates the world

My paternal affection rises

at  this astonishing sight

and awakens the song in my heart.

On my way to the forest

my feet touches the grass,

My mind is thrilled

by the scent of flowers

that scatter the song of happiness

This astonishing sight

Awakens the song in my heart.

I listen, my eyes are wide open

I pour my heart to the world

I have discovered the unknown

In my inner self

This astonishing sight

Awakens the song in my heart!

DP Daily Prompt: Saturday Night

S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y Night! What’s your favorite way to spend  Saturday Night?

I spend my Saturday night watching a movie. If I don’t like the movie, I read my novel. If I finish reading it way before my bedtime,I answer some emails from friends.

I listen to Tagore songs for a few minutes ,then I go to bed.

I eagerly listen

in my own impassable heart ,

again and again.

Someone is  crying and laughing;

I eagerly listen

to hear their secret,

again  and again.

I eagerly listen

again and again.

The wandering bumble bee  hides alone

behind the water lily.

I eagerly listen,

the bird of the night singing,

alone in the dark.

I eagerly listen

in my own impassable heart,

who it is, no one knows.

I have some idea,

some I can guess,

some I do not understand.

Sometimes the message is cloaked

in a musical note.

What can it be in my language?

I eagerly listen,

again and again!
