DP Daily Prompts: Set It To Rights

pad2015-s1.png (308×60)

Think of a time you let something slide, only for it to eat away at you later. Tell us how you’d fix it today.

Sometimes people have misunderstandings which is enough to ruin a friendship.I have experienced it a few times, before I could set it right, the damage was done.

It was impossible to convince the person this was not what I meant. If I could get my time back I would explain what I meant that very moment, to avoid losing a friend.

365 Writing Prompts: Seven wonders

Khalil Gibran once said that people will never understand one another unless language is reduced to seven words. What would your seven words be?

My seven words are: Love; Trust; Honesty; Friendship; Sharing; Peace; Unity.

Love erases misunderstanding.

Trust is an important word, if you trust people there will be no arguments.

Honesty is always the best policy.

If we are friendly we’ll have no enemies.

Sharing: whatever one has it’s good to share it reduces poverty.

Peace: What can be achieved by peace cannot be achieved by war.

Unity: Lack of unity is the cause of all the dissension in the world.

Day of departure by R.Tagore translated by Ranu

On the day of my departure I want to set aside any misunderstanding so that I can say____

whatever I saw , whatever I received, there can be no comparison.

In the middle of this glowing ocean   ruled by innumerable lotus flowers

I drank their honey ,this is why I am extremely grateful.

On the day of my departure  this is what I hope to say

In the strange world  of  earthly life I played so  many games,

I have seen unprecedented things with my eyes.

Those  that cannot be touched    gave themselves up to everyone,

if  you  want to end this  here, then finish it here___

so that I can let all know this when I am leaving.
