Edmund Hillary and Sherpa guide the two courageous folks,

Were the first brave ones to climb Mount Everest is not a joke.

Undoubtedly they had the nerve to  realize such a feat,

Their boldness over six decades ago is not easy to beat!

Write a new post in response to the one-word prompt: NERVE

I’m not always confident of myself. I tried to learn skating, I fell more times than I like to count. One of the kids in school asked me, “Miss why don’t you skate?”

My reply, “because I was down more than I was up.”

He liked my response, he thought, ‘ I can skate, she can’t, hurrah for  me!’

Then I went to learn swimming, I failed again, I was afraid I’d drown.

Now I’m sticking to the reading challenge. I read 14 books since January 4th.  Now I can carry a sign which says, “Hey I read 14 books in less than three months.”

I get the point from now onward I must not tread in dangerous waters, right?
