‘Tis the season for road trips– if time and money were out of the equation, what car -based adventure would you go on?( if you don’t or can’t drive, any land based journey counts.
I’d love to take a road trip to Montreal, I know from St.John’s to Port aux Basques will take at least ten hours by car, we’d have to get a ferry from there to North Sydney, Nova Scotia. From North Sydney we’d drive to New Brunswick, we have to stop overnight in a motel. Early morning after breakfast we’d drive as far as Quebec City. We will stay overnight in a hotel or motel near the highway. From Quebec City we’d take the highway to the city of Montreal. We’d stay in the same apartment we stayed the last two years.
You’re going on a cross-country trip, airplane, train, bus, ,or car?( or something else entirely–bike?hot air balloon?)
We took a trip from Montreal,Quebec to Gander,Newfoundland by car. We left in the afternoon , my husband drove all the way from Montreal to our final destination, Gander, Newfoundland.
On our way we stopped at Moncton , New Brunswick, to see the famous Magnetic Hill, I am posting a video of the place.
From Moncton we went to Nova Scotia , we visited the Alaxander graham bell museum. Here is an youtube video I’ve posted about Alexander Graham Bell.
From Baddeck we drove to Sydney Nova Scotia to catch the ferry to Newfoundland. The ferry took five hours to dock in Newfoundland. It took ten hours to reach Gander, Newfoundland!
