DP Daily Prompt: Gut Feeling

When’s the last time you followed your instinct despite not being sure it was the right thing to do? Did it end up  being the right call ?

About three years ago, I read two lines written by a poet in Urdu, out of curiosity I searched on the internet to find out about this particular poet, luckily I found out why he wrote those lines, which led to another surprise I discovered a gentleman was offering online courses to study about him.

Instinctively I decided to take these courses, I was helped by the facilitator who registered me, I was delighted, I was a bit concerned in the beginning,but it turned out to be a fascinating subject to learn, I also have something to do in my free time. I’m continuing to do these courses, I must say I enjoy every moment of it!

DP Daily Prompts: Good Tidings

Present- day you meets 10-years-ago you for coffee.Share with your younger self the most challenging thing, the most rewarding, and the most fun thing they have to look forward to.

Ten years younger me meets the older me, what did we talk about,our health, there is not much change, it’s the same as it was when I was younger, our food habits has not changed we love the same thing.

Regarding tolerance of the weather, the younger me did not mind it as much, but ten years later my tolerance level has gone down.

My interest in books has increased, I started, blogging, I even enjoy doing online courses, my younger self knew nothing about blogging or doing courses, this is quite a change and I appreciate it.

It was fun comparing the younger and older me.

DP Daily Prompts: Pride And Joy

What’s your most prized possession? Go!

 

I think my laptop computer is the best source of my enjoyment, to me it’s my most prized possession. 

Since I got my computer I have accomplished a lot,I have done several online courses which I’ve enjoyed immensely. I have learned about my favorite poet and philosopher Iqbal.

I have translated Tagore’s poems and song lyrics. I joined blogging which enabled me to come into contact with some very talented and lovely people. Some of them have become my good friends.

I have participated in interesting writing competition, I have been able to interact with a large number of people.

I consider this a prized possession because nothing else can give me as much pleasure as my computer!
