In response to prompt :Orange
Orange flowers brightens a garden,
But Orange hair can cause a burden.
We are strange creatures of Almighty God,
We make fun of anyone who looks odd!

When forced with confrontation ,do you head for the hills or walk straight in?Was there ever a time you wished you’d had the opposite reaction?
This incident happened when I was about eight years old. I was playing with my friends during a recess break in my school. We stopped playing for a few minutes, one of the girls younger than us, came running to us, she had an orange she was unable to peel, she handed it over to my classmate to remove the skin.
My classmate took the orange and started peeling it, I thought wow, she’s actually helping the girl, this classmate was not known for her good deeds. she was always mean, so I was amazed to see the change in her. After peeling the orange she threw the orange on the sandy playground. The little girl started to cry. I was appalled by this behavior. Meanwhile my classmate left, I was angry and I said,”( badtameez) ill-mannered.”
Someone went and tattled to the classmate, what I had said. She came immediately and asked me,”Did you say I am ill-mannered?”
I replied, “Yes” I’m not sure what her next move would have been, the school bell rang and we had to return to our classrooms.
I think about this incident even now and feel, not all the kids are innocent, some are really mean!

Write about anything you’d like , but make sure that all colors of the rainbow– red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet– make an appearance in the post, either through word or image.
The clear sky tempted Pamela to go for a walk, it has been a long time since she got out of the house. The sun was shining brightly, the grass looked its original color and children skipping with amusement reminded her of her childhood.
Walking along a deserted path she met Sangita, her friend from school, they were delighted to see each other. All at once Sangita asked Pam if she’d be interested to come to their ‘Holi Party.’ Pam wasn’t sure it was such a great idea, she was wearing her attractive indigo dress, she did not want it to be smothered by multi- colors. Pam tried to excuse herself but Sangita refused to take ‘No’ for an answer. Reluctantly she agreed hoping her dress wouldn’t be ruined.
While walking along Pam tripped up fell down and scraped her knee, it was bleeding, she panicked and excused herself and ran home.
Mom was waiting for her with a bunch of Marigolds given by their neighbor, Pam got some band-aid to put on her knee and sat down with her mother. They chatted for a while mom went to check her roast, Pam took a magazine to read, it was all about Kate, Prince William’s wife. Pam loved Kate’s dress it was a beautiful violet, she looked extremely pretty in it.
Pam made up her mind to get an orange dress for herself to celebrate Spring!
