It was a better world when humans wrote on slate,

We invented  paper and now slates are out of date.

It is a sad invention,

For trees face extinction,

We will regret for using paper instead of slate!

Daily Prompt: Google and Rescue Operation

What was the last thing you searched for online? Why were you looking for it?

Yesterday I told my friend our Siamese and Himalayan breed felines chew plastic and paper. I didn’t know why they do this because they get the best food to eat.

My friend suggested I should look up at the internet. I came home and searched the internet where they gave a few reasons why the felines chew plastic and paper.

One of the things was they might be anemic or they were taken off too early from weaning, they suggested taking them to the vet. They also said there probably is no reason, they just  like to chew plastic and paper.

I’m worried because chewing and or eating plastic may harm the felines.

365 Writing Posts: Five Items

A classic question, revisited, what are the five items you must have on a deserted island?

Five items I consider most important to me are:

1. Food

2. Camera

3.Pencil

4. paper

5. blanket

Food: well any living thing needs food,I am no exception , my food is a bit more complicated than the plants and animals.

Animals will eat anything that moves, not true in our case.

Plants: I’m so thankful for them, they provide us shade in the form of trees, there are trees that produce fruits, vegetables. Without trees our land will turn into deserts.

Why will I need a camera, I think  there will be so many varieties of living things, I’d like to capture them in my little equipment.

I did not include pen, it has a shorter life than a  pencil, I opted to carry a pencil and of course paper to write on . I want to make my unwanted stay fascinating, good or bad it will help me write about my experience.

I wished  to include something else in my list of five items, but a voice in me said, “take a blanket, it will keep you warm, in case it’s freezing on the island!”

Above is a list of items I think I’ll need. I’ve given the reason why they’re more important than anything else.

Dear Ranu,

Thank you for your letter. Raphael and I were very good boys yesterday. Rapha is the one who tried to open your closet, I did discourage him but he said, ‘No.’

Rapha did not pull your clothes down on the floor, you still did not give us treats for good behavior.

We tried to sleep all morning, your neighbor was making too much noise and the sun was bright and shiny we had to find out what was happening. this is why we could not sleep.

Rapha was restless, he’s the one who jumped on the piano, he does not listen, I don’t know if he scratched your piano, I am sorry.

Thank you for raising the blinds for us, it was nice and sunny, we didn’t enjoy that much because nothing exciting was happening, and there were no birds we could catch and gobble up, oh yes we are inside how can we catch them.

You always promise to give us treats, but you never do. Humans never tell the truth.

Rapha knows you don’t want him to chew paper, he did it as a protest because you failed to keep your promise.

Rapha wasn’t in a mood to reply, so I did it on behalf of us both.

I hope you still love us.

DP Daily Prompts:

Someone or something you can’t communicate through writing( a baby, a pet, an object), can understand every single word you write today, for one day only. What do you tell them?

This is what I’ll tell, Raphael and Gabriel, our two feline pets:

Look at me Raphael and Gabriel, today I want you to be very good boys.

1.    You must not try to open my closet and pull my clothes down on the floor.

2. You will get one treat if you behave.

3. If you sleep all morning I will give you moist food.

4. If you stay awake you will only get dry food.

5. Do not jump on the piano, your claws are too sharp you will make scratch marks.

6. you can go to the window and look out.

7. You are good boys I will give you an extra treat.

8. Do not eat paper , Rafa it’s not good for you.

These are a few things I tell them every day, if they know what I’m saying it’d be great even if  it’s only for a day.
