I think I have left my dear family all by themselves far too long. Also I can get a pink slip any day, was worrying me.I put all these worrisome inkling together and have reigned myself in.I am all set to do my job,that I was hired right this minute.

Karachi is the capital of Sindh and the largest city in Pakistan. According to the April 2012 census,the estimated population of Pakistan is over twenty-one million.It is also the main seaport and financial centre of Pakistan.it is the largest city in terms of population and also the 11th largest urban agglomeration in the world.It is Pakistan’s premier centre of banking,industry,entertainment,the arts,fashion,advertising,publishing,software development and medical research.The city is the major hub of higher educationin South Asia and the Muslim world. Karachi was the capital of Pakistan before the construction of Islamabad.This was done to spread development evenly and also avoid having everything in Karachi.The port of Karachi and port of Bin Qasim is located in Karachi.These are the regions largest and busiest ports. The city is situated in the south of the country,along the coastline meeting the Arabian Sea.It is the birth and burial place of Quaid-e-Azam ,Muhammad Ali Jinnah,the founder of Pakistan,who made the city his home after Pakistan’s independence from the British Raj on 14th August 1947.
Ancient Greeks had many names such as;krokola,the place Alexander the great camped to prepare a fleet for Babylonia after his campaign in Indus valley; ‘Morontobara’ (probably Manora island in near Karachi Harbour)Barbarikon a port of the Bactrian kingdom.It was later known to the Arabs as debal from where Muhammad bin Qasim led his force into South Asia in 712 AD.
The name of Karachi occurs for the first time in a Dutch document in 1742,when a merchant ship de Ridderkerk shipwrecked nearby its course.
Karachi has an arid climate with low average precipitation levels.(approximately 250 mm) per annum.Most of it occurs during the July-August monsoon season.Winters are mild ,Summers are warm and humid; December and January are dry and pleasant.
Tourist Attractions: There are many beautiful seasides near the city e.g Seaview,Manora Island,sandspit beach Hawk’s Bay beach,Cape Monze and Nathiagali beach.Museums;National museum of Pakistan Air force Museum,Pakistan Maritime museum.Parks: Bagh Bin Qasim,Boat Basin Park,Karachi Zoo,Hill park,Bagh-e-Jinnah,Aziz Bhatti Park,Jheel Park. National Park and Lake: Kirthar National Park,it is home to striped hyenas,wolves,ratels,,Indian Gazelles and Sindh wild goats.
Architecture: Karachi has a rich collection of buildings and structures of varied architectural styles,Pakistan State Oil,Karachi Financial towers,Islamic Architecture,Masjid-e-Tooba,Faran Mosque, MCB Towers-the tallest skyscraper in Pakistan.
