Tell us about a bullet you’re glad you dodged– when something awful almost happened, but didn’t.
It happened to me once when I was on my way to my uncle’s house in Dhaka,it was a late afternoon, I had hired an auto rickshaw because it was faster than the regular rickshaw.
I noticed the driver kept stopping pretending there was something wrong, after the third time, I was disgusted it would be dark soon, so I made the decision I’d hire the regular rickshaw to continue my journey.
I told the driver he had wasted enough time I wasn’t interested to let him stop this many times. I got off and got the regular rickshaw to go to my uncle’s house.
On the way the rickshaw driver told me,”You’ve made the right decision to change, that auto rickshaw driver is a crooked guy, who knows what was on his mind?”
I breathed a sigh of relief, I had dodged the bullet, “God is always helping me I quietly whispered!”
