Today , write a poem about the imperfect nature of someone or something.

Today’s form: Limerick

Device : Enjambment

Poetry: Imperfect

Brother, you claim, you’re  the picture of perfection

but, you cannot   live up to our expectation,

What good is your claim

when, you put us all   into  shame

Dear brother the picture of perfection!

Just the other day, he said, ‘yo, Ranu

your friend, named Banu

you say,is an amazing  girl

I , watched her  fall when she tried to twirl

Your amazing friend Banu!’

I kid you not dear brother

your skill, I’d rather

not, bring up

this, your attempt  to balance the cup

broke , was  a poor spectacle, my perfect brother!

I’ve traveled far and wide

But never could I hide

My fear of people who sigh

Because I didn’t know why!

So I looked up in the sky

To get my answer

All I saw was a bunch of cloud

That made a sound so loud

It made me twirl round and round!

I met a man who claimed to have the answer

They sigh to refresh their breath he said

I didn’t believe it

But they all said, that is it!

I will never get my answer

So now I think I have no fear

Why should I care if they sigh

There could be a million reason why!

Hither and thither the herd is moving

Happy Harry is up and  running

His mom tried to stop he would not listen

His dog  barked and his cat purred

Hazardous Harry kept on whistling!

Happy Harry is up and running

Hop on said the heiress

In my stately chariot

I will show you a  strange marmot!

Hither and thither the herd is moving

Happy Harry is up and running

Stop said the boy stop said the girl

We can show you how to twirl

No said Harry I won’t stop!

Hither and thither the herd is moving

His father Peter started sprinting

Stop said the father Harry stop

“No said Harry I have to take care of the herd
