You’re being exiled to a private island, and your captors will only supply you with five foods. What do you pick?
I will pick, 1. water, 2. a vegetable ( which is good for health) 3. fish or meat( a kind that is not harmful to our health. 4. fruit (any kind) 5. a snack ( some kind of nuts, biscuit, or even another fruit).
My first item is water, we cannot survive without water, it is essential to maintain good health.
My second preference is a vegetable of any kind. I named only one because we are allowed only one.Eating vegetable daily is advised by our physicians. What a vegetable can provide for our health other food items do not.
Third on my list is fish or meat: out of the two I have written fish is better than beef or even chicken as far as our health is considered.
Fourth is a fruit: It is just as important and useful as the vegetable. Its function is to keep us regular, it is an important part of maintaining good health.
Fifth and last on my list is a snack: we must eat snacks that are good for our health, I have included nuts or biscuit or even another fruit. Since I can only list five things, I have thought about the foods very carefully, to make sure while we are captured ,we eat foods that will keep us healthy!
Are you a picky eater? Share some of your food quirks with us( the more exotic the better)omnivores: What’s the one thing you won’t eat?
I am not a picky eater, I am an omnivore I do eat meat and vegetables. There are certain flesh I do not eat, such as rabbit, frogs, pigeons and most flesh that are wild game, I get a peculiar smell which makes me nauseous.
Beef is my favorite flesh food, I cook it different ways, I always make sure it is spicy and hot.In my mind nothing can beat the taste of beef. I love it so much, once my brother looked at me and said, ‘ you like cow meat so much you’ll transform into a one.’
So far I still look like a human and therefore I feel I am not in any danger of looking like a cow.
Plant food i.e, vegetables? I like them all. I do have a favorite vegetable, okra, I can eat it every day I’ll never get tired of it.Second in line is Cauliflower, followed by egg plant, string beans, spinach, broccoli and every other vegetable on this planet.
I am an omnivore but do not like some flesh, I love all the vegetables!

When I am in a strange land,I am fascinated by their dress, their language and architecture. I am not fussy about their food.I only stick to the food I know. I am always concerned about different types of food. The ingredients, how it is cooked and what it is, especially when it is meat. I have no problem with any kind of fish or vegetables. I do not spend too much time thinking of the varieties available.I am quite happy to have a burger and move on.
I love watching people wearing their traditional dress, their language and their interaction with strangers. I had a first hand experience when I went to Llanberis for teaching practice. The Welsh are a very friendly bunch of people.Sometimes we spoke to them pretty much using sign language. They do speak English, some don’t.They were the ones I had fun with. We communicated with them despite our lack of knowledge of their language. The children in school were happy to see us. We taught them English.I found them very cooperative.
We saw some old buildings there. Our two week stay there was very productive.
